HUSKYING KIVALOT

Meet the Huskies and reach the Pearl of Sea Lapland, the top of Kivalot! We'll visit the Old Pine Husky Farm where the Huskies are trained. The local host tells about the culture of Huskies and you have also possibility to take a Husky sled ride.

After the drive we'll have lunch at Old Pine and continue to Kivalot for a hike to the Fireguard's Hut and Kivalot viewtower. The hike consists of total 3 km walking on snowy trail in semi-flat terrain.

When driving back from Kivalot we also have the possibility to see the Auroras way back to Kemi / Tornio.

HUSKING THE KIVALOT 

Time: At 10:00 - 16:00 (6 hours). 

Pick-up: At Kemi bus station (Asemakatu 13) or as determined. 

Includes: Husky ride, lunch and hike to viewtower. 

Dress code: Winter boots and warm outdoor clothes.
